DragonSprouts
DragonSprouts is a parent-run, 501(c)(3) organization that raises money to support the mission of the Mandarin Immersion Program as it grows. Our teachers and administrators rely on the money we raise to fund essential classroom instruction and enrichment activities.
The mission of the Mandarin Immersion Program:
The mission of the Mandarin Immersion (MI) Program is to provide an intellectually challenging, standards-based curriculum in English and Mandarin. Students will not only become bilingual and biliterate, they will also become self-confident learners, creative thinkers, problem-solvers, and productive global citizens with a respect for cultural differences.
Making a donation to DragonSprouts:
Donations are now being accepted on this website using the PayPal link to the left on this page. (Please note that PayPal deducts a transaction fee of 2.2% + 0.30 from every donation made online.) Alternatively, you may download the DragonSprouts Donation Form (page right) and return it along with your donation check made payable to “DragonSprouts” in the drop box in the Main Office labeled “DragonSprouts Annual Fund Drive.” You may also mail your check along with a completed form to: DragonSprouts, 1015 Lincoln Blvd., Venice, CA 90291.
Matching funds from employers:
Many employers have matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, contact your Human Resources Department.
