2014–15 Location Update
In a community stakeholder meeting on March 7, 2014, Board Member Steve Zimmer confirmed that both the Mandarin Immersion Program and Spanish Immersion Program will remain on the Broadway Elementary School campus for the 2014–15 school year.

Mandarin Immersion Program:
Location Update
In a community stakeholder meeting on June 5, 2013, Board Member Steve Zimmer confirmed that plans to co-locate the Mandarin Immersion Program on the Marina Del Rey Middle School campus will not be moving forward. The District is currently working to identify alternative viable locations for the Mandarin Immersion Program for the 2014–15 school year. Additional updates will be released as information becomes available.

Broadway Spirit Wear
Students are encouraged to have a Broadway shirt or sweatshirt to wear on Spirit Fridays and on class field trips. Photos of all Broadway Spirit Wear are available under All proceeds from Broadway Spirit Wear directly support and enrich the educational needs of Broadway's students. To order, submit your completed order form with payment to any Friends of Broadway board member or to the school office during the regular instructional year.

Every incoming family receives a complete printed booklet of the Broadway Parent Handbook.The complete printed Parent Handbook contains additional information not available here on the website. Parents and guardians should keep this handbook in a safe and accessible place.

Title I Academic Achievement Award
Broadway is proud to be one of eight LAUSD schools to receive the for 2012–2013. This is the second consecutive year Broadway has celebrated this achievement. The California Department of Education honored 56 California schools with this award on May 13, 2013. As the qualification criteria become more rigorous each year, fewer schools meet the targets to receive the award. Broadway students and staff deserve this high honor for their hard work.

Spanish Immersion Program &
English Program Now Enrolling
Broadway is now accepting kindergarten enrollment for both the Spanish Immersion Program and the English Program for the 2013–2014 school year. Our new, two-way, dual-language Spanish Immersion Program will utilize a 50/50 model. Parents interested in the English Program may call the school office for enrollment details.
