Birthdays
The importance of birthdays is acknowledged; however, birthday parties are not permitted during instructional time. Please ask your child’s teacher how he/she observes birthdays. Some parents choose to donate a book to the classroom or Broadway’s library in the child’s name. Party invitations are not to be distributed at school.
Back to School Night
This is a chance to meet your child’s teacher/s and ask questions. Teachers will give an overview of what to expect in the upcoming year.

Teachers and parents work together to plan and implement these activities. Students enjoy the celebration and learn about the Chinese culture through participation in the events.
